BayRail Alliance

Presented by the Caltrain staff in January 2007, Project 2025 is a phased implemenation plan that would fulfill a vision laid out by BayRail Alliance of a faster and more accessible rapid-transit regional rail service on Peninsula.

2001 — BayRail's lobbying efforts help lead to Caltrain agreeing to be the Dumbarton Rail operator. Caltrain agrees on the condition that it would not be required to fund any of the expenses of operating the  Dumbarton service.
