BayRail Alliance is primarily about realizing the San Francisco Bay Area's full rail potential. The fate of Amtrak on the national level indirectly affects the ability of our vision to be realized, but is not our primary focus. We refer those who are concerned about federal funding for long-distance (non-high-speed rail) trains to organizations such as NARP and TRAC.
