CAC — Citizens Advisory Committee (some people pronounce this as "kak", but most prefer to say "see-ay-see") SFCTA — San Francisco County Transportation Authority. This is comprised of the same people who are elected to serve on San Francisco's Board of Supervisors, convening as a transportation decision-making body. San Mateo CountyUnless otherwise noted, meetings are generally held in the SamTrans auditorium located at 1250 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos (2nd floor), which is located within easy walking distance of the San Carlos Caltrain station.
CAC — Citizens Advisory Committee (some people pronounce this as "kak", but most prefer to say "see-ay-see") C/CAG (pronounced "see-kag") — City & County Association of Governments CMAQ ("see-mack") — Congestion Management & Air Quality committee which reports to C/CAG JPB — Joint Powers Board SMCTA — San Mateo County Transportation Authority, an entity that was created to administer the proceeds of a 1/2-cent sales tax for transportation that was approved by voters and is collected within the county. Santa Clara CountyUnless otherwise noted, meetings are generally held at VTA headquarters, 3331 N. 1st St (x Riveroaks), San Jose, Building B conference room 104.
