Joining us will be Richard Schmedes. He is the Program Manager of Electrification and Systems Integration for Caltrain. He has been in charge of the Caltrain Electrification Project since May 2005. Prior to that he was living in London for five years where he was a member of the Program Management team responsible for upgrading the West Coast Main Line of the UK to 125mph. He also worked on the Joint Venture which completed Amtrak’s North end Electrification Project to introduce 150mph rail service between New Haven and Boston. Mr. Schmedes holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from University of Connecticut.
Cafe Yulong is located a few blocks from the Mountain View Caltrain station (between Castro and Hope Streets). We meet in the back room of the restaurant. Dinner will be available for a $11 charge, your choice of beef, chicken, pork or tofu.
